We always put top quality material throughout our houses. You don't have to cheap it out to save a lot of money.

Most plans will tell you how much of each item you should purchase, so you will be able to decide on materials that will fit in your budget. I will go into that in detail before we are through in the percentage chart.

I have to admit my husband would pull me into realization many times, he is the more frugal one.

With the progression of each step - you will learn to stay three steps ahead of each series of construction. This will all be outlined before we are through.

As you go through this little booklet - you will get a feeling about whether or not you have what it takes to jump into this project. If the feeling of adventure or achievement is not there, don't try to force it - just roll with the flow. You will either have the sense of adventure, or you will not.

Don't go into it with the attitude of "I can't wait until this is over". - If this is your attitude, you will have a miserable experience.

If you go into it with the attitude of "this will be a great experience" you have just drastically increased your probability of success.

Everyone thinks that finances is the top priority - I admit you can't do it without the finances, however, you cannot do it without the right attitude either. So make sure your attitude is adjusted right before going any further.
